About Herbalism with Willow
Welcome friend,
I’m Willow — a student of the plants, a seeker of balance, and an herbal tea lover.
I started Herbalism with Willow to share my journey into the world of herbalism — rooted in the Appalachian Mountain region of Pennsylvania and guided by the wisdom of Nature.
This is a safe space for everyone to learn Appalachian-inspired herbalism that blends personal experience with both traditional and modern herbalism practices.
I’m not an expert in all things herbalism — just someone who chose to listen more deeply to my mind, body, and spirit, and who tries to grow a little more every day. What started as curiosity has become a lifelong practice of mindfulness, gratitude, and balance.
Whether you’re new to herbs or an experienced herbalist, you’re welcome here.
This is a place to grow together — slowly, seasonally, and with intention.

My Philosophy:
My approach to herbalism blends mindfulness, balance, compassion, and interconnection. I believe herbs meet us where we are and offer what we need — if we listen closely.
Through mindfulness, we build an ongoing relationship with each individual plant and with the Earth as a living, breathing being.
Herbalism helps us bring balance back into our lives — in mind, body, and spirit. We do this by becoming aware of who we are, what we need in the present moment, and by offering compassion to ourselves and everyone we meet.
And through interconnection, we come to understand that we are all a part of Nature and that we must work together as one.
Always remember, if we take care of the plants, the plants will take care of us.
With gratitude,

“Herbal Wisdom from the Appalachians”
